Why did my Galaxy S6 change my contact photos?

why did my galaxy s6 change my contact photos?

Last night a contact in my phone was set to one photo. The next day the photo had been changed to a completely different photo on it's own.

Is that contact synced to either Facebook, Google+ or some other social media site? If so, when they change their profile picture it'll change in you contacts. Just a thought.
