Why did you choose the 6+ Edge over the Note 5?

Re: S6 edge plus ++++

Because it looks cutting edge compared to the note 5 and I use the edge apps 50 times more than I used the s pen apps on the note 4.

I knew if I bought the Note 5 I would be compelled to put the stylus in backwards..... LOL

Primarily because of the looks. I didn't use the s-pen much on my old Note 2, and to me, the appearance of a device is nearly as important as its performance. As great-looking as the Note 5 is, I love the elegant style and beauty of Edge+ even more. Since their performance is for all practical purposes identical, I went with the one that was more visually appealing to me.

That may seem to shallow to some, but it's important to me. I want it to be pleasing to the eye when I'm going to be using it for the next year or so.

Had the Note 5, loved it but I don't use the stylus much. I used to have the Note Edge, which was my ideal phone, because it had the cutting "edge" tech and the big screen. But I never used the s-pen. So after about a week using the Note 5, I jumped to the Edge+ and haven't looked back. Beautiful phone too.. nothing sexier out there right now.

Did not want a stylus. Love the look of the Edge screen. That's it.

Try something different. Came from a note 4. It was either 6s+ or edge +. Easy decision.

I didn't want/use a stylus, and I've wanted an edge display since they came out with it. I'm very happy with my choice.

I can't decide. I wish they put the edge on the note 5. It would be 👍👍

I'm in Hong Kong, and the only the S6 Edge+ has a 64 gig version. The Note 5 only comes with 32 gigs in Hong Kong....

It's the looks baby wow wow in gold wow wow loving it

Agreed. You can't tell a note 5 from any other phone. You definitely can tell a s6e plus apart from EVERY phone.

I wrestled with this for a while because I loved my Note 3...but once I was being honest with myself, I was really just waiting for the edge to show up on a bigger phone, Note or no Note.

I realized that part of the reason why is that every new phone I've gotten has also been a change in form factor. Every time! After loving my Note for a couple of years, the Note 5 didn't feel like buying a new phone. It felt like buying an OLD phone. Yeah yeah, performance, resolution, etc etc. I wanted a new SHAPE, and this shape just happens to be

a bunch of beautiful awesomeness

Couldn't have said it better. LOL

You know what didn't factor in? The S Pen. Never used it. Kept trying on a regular basis, kept finding, meh, I have no idea why I keep trying. But I loved it anyway. The other thing that didn't factor in -- the "edge" features. Maybe interesting, maybe not. But really, just like the Note, it's all the OTHER stuff: big, beautiful, shiny, and the same performance as the Note.

Once I was honest, the decision was made.

Looks! Everyone asks what phone that is. And obviously being a prime member of this forum I don't pick phones over looks usually, coming from the LG g4, but the edge is a conversation starter and just a different concept to all phones out there.. I'm happy with the battery life and the aesthetics of it. If I could have dreamed of a phone, this would be it.
