Why did you choose the Edge over the S6 model?

Most other phones have that boring SLAB - Tombstone look! It's the uniqueness of the Edge that makes people want it...something new and different.

The WOW factor for me. I upgraded early from the LG G3 and would not do that except for the WOW! I showed the S6 edge to friends at work that have the S4 and the S5 and they were impressed.

I want the edge but that curved edge looks way too vunerable to cracking if it falls. I have yet to see a case that offers enough bezel to protect it without compromising the looks of the phone.

Pretty much 100% fashion. The Galaxy S6 itself is completely unimpressive, but the S6 Edge totally has this thing about it that makes it look really awesome. I'm really into 3D and 2D design stuff, and it's definitely one of the most beautiful pieces of electronics I've seen. I used to have an iPhone 4, so I'm used to taking care of fragile devices (granted, it's been a while since I've had to do so).

If I wasn't getting the S6 edge, though, I'd probably get a Note 4 or wait for the Note 5. Or maybe I'd jump ship altogether, but regardless, I wouldn't bother with the normal S6.

I bought it because it looks cooler than the "regular" S6. I tried holding it in the store a few times before ordering it and it felt comfortable to me. The extra features are not a lot, but they are there. And not to be obnoxious, but the extra $100 doesn't mean much to me.

I still think the G3 was the best phone of 2014. That's said after owning the Passport, S5, M8, and Note 4.

I was pretty committed to that phone until I actually had a hands on experience with the Edge at BB. The cool factor definitely won me over.
