Why do I have an additional lock screen on my Samsung S7

I have an additional lock screen on my S7 which I have to swipe every time before getting to my lock screen or answering an incoming call. I have downloaded the malware scanner, as suggested on a thread in this forum with the result "No malware found" and all apps and files have been scanned.

Have you installed or updated any apps recently? One of those came with this undesired "payload".

You can first confirm this by booting to safe mode and seeing if the extra screen persists there - https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-28008

Then you can check permissions for recently-installed apps and see if any have a permission to draw over other apps.

The bottom line is that this extra lock screen is coming from an app that was updated or installed recently, regardless of what that malware scanner says. Those scanners aren't perfect.
