Why do I have to verify my password every time I look at my email in the mail app?

I have to verify my password every time I look at my email in the mail app. Even offline

Offline it is only checking the password I entered to set up my account. It began when I had to change my chip. One time is said your chip has changed so you have to verify your password. Now I have been having to do it for months. Enough already. My phone is password protected. I do not need another layer every time.
