Why do i receive only some text messages but not all?

I have the ASUS Zenfone 2 and i find that while texting, sometimes i do not receive text messages from people. I find that they were indeed sent and that i had "received" them, but i actually didnt. It is also very random and i cannot explain it. Please help.

You'll have to "unrandomize" it. Did you used to use an iPhone? Are the missing texts from people using iPhones? Do the missing texts all have attachments?

You'll have to find the common element in all the missing texts.

I have no idea how to "unrandomize" or if that is really an option for me; i have searched around my phone and manual a lot. This is actually my first phone, but i do believe that the texts i do not receive come from an Iphone. The usually occur when i am at home connected to my wifi, however not always.

Make sure you are on the latest firmware.
swap your sim and check
check with the service provider and the network in your area
make sure your sim is proper cut sim
