Why do my Music Apps Restart When Multitasking

I have the new LG Stylo 4 with Oreo 8.1.0. I will open the Amazon Music app and begin playing music. Afterwards I'll open other apps. When I open the other apps the music will stop playing. When I go back to the music app I discover the app is restarting. The iPhone never did this. I was able to switch between apps at will and the music would never stop. This problem also occurs with chrome. So far I have added all relevant apps to the power exclusion setting, the restricted data access setting, and changed the number of background apps to the maximum of 4. Is there anything else i can try before I return to IPhone?

How much memory does your phone have? 2 GB? 3 GB?

Do you have any of those "cleaner" apps or "batter saver" apps that will kill apps running in the background?

The phone shows 1.9GB in memory. I haven't downloaded anything used for killing app.

Yesterday, there was an google update pushed to my device. It seems to work now.
