why does my ellipsis7 tablet say "not in range"

I attempt to connect to my home WiFi and it attempts to connect but just bends up saying "not in range". Meanwhile my WiFi box is next to me ? What is the problem and how should I fix it ?

The signal is low and cannot be recieved by your phone . Try contacting your internet provider.

Can you connect other devices to the router? If so, it's going to more than likely a issue with your handset. First try a simple power cycle of your device. Upon powering the device back on, boot into recovery mode. Wipe the system cache partition. Reboot device.

If no good still, are you able to connect to any other wifi? Test this easily buy trying out free WiFi in your town somewhere. If you cannot connect to any wifi, check all settings regarding wifi and data. If everything checks out, with no luck, you can try doing a factory reset via recovery mode. If things still don't get better, contact manufacturer for further details.

If no device will connect, your router is what's causing the problem. Google "troubleshooting<routermodel#>"to troubleshoot your home network. If the equipment is rented/leased by your Internet provider, contact them for further details.
