Why does my Facebook App keep freezing up?

I have uninstalled & re-installed my Facebook app a gazillion times & I still have the problem of it freezing up, or sometimes, I just get a black screen. It's driving my crazy!!! Help!

Same thing happens to me in between. So deleted fb app only. It works fine on browser.
