Why does my Google Pixel6A touchscreen doesnt react properly?

Hi, i got a Google Pixe6A for like 6 months now, since yesterday my touchscreen has weird bugs and delays. For example i cant click on or doubleclick. I think the screen doesnt recgonize my commands. Then i have to turn off the screen turn it on it works sometimes but its nealry intorelable. I cant use my phone properly and nothing even happened to it, it didnt fell on the floor or got even wet. I already reseted the whole phone but it still doesnt work. Im desperate because i just got this phone. I would be really thankful if someone could help me.

(it got a really small crack on the bottom right side but i had it for some months now and it was never a problem)

That crack probably causing this issue even though it was ok for awhile its a weak link now any pressure in that area could of caused this or getting wet , take to repair shop and get a estimate.

I dropped my 6a on concrete this summer. I also got caught in a downpour. Although it survived both, my screen is cracked in two places. I've also experienced slight delays and minor touch responsive issues ever since. I've thought about getting a replacement, but as a back up, it still gets the job done.
