Why does my insignia Roku t.v. keep losing its wifi signal and cause streaming issues

Why is my insignia Roku smart TV continuously losing it's wifi signal causing streaming and buffering issues,help

Because it's not close enough to the router? Because there's something between it and the router causing it to lose signal? (If you imagine a line between the router and the TV, and it goes near a microwave oven, that will kill the signal every time.)
