Why does my keyboard stay on my lock screen

My keyboard on my lg l70 doesn't go away when locking the phone or when the screen shuts off. What's up?

Welcome to Android Central! Is your screenlock set to password? Does this persist after a reboot?

No password, it's just a swipe to open the phone. It's still there after i reboot and the keyboard also stays up if i pull down the notification tray, when before it use to minimize.

See what happens if you boot into Safe Mode, which disables all 3rd party apps. The steps for the L70 are probably the same as for the G2: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-11127. If the problem goes away in Safe Mode, then something you installed might be causing the problem.
