Why does my LG4 shut off when fully charged?

LG4 shuts off when fully charged.

I plug my phone in each night and find in the morning that the phone, fully charged, has shut down and I need to remove the battery and put it back in before it will turn back on. This seems to have started after a recent software update. I am using the charger that came with the phone.

Welcome to Android Central! Before going to sleep at night, try booting the phone into Safe Mode, then proceed to charge overnight. If the phone doesn't shut off, then it might be a 3rd party app that's causing the problem (and not the system). https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-21962
