Why does my Netflix show lags when I play it through my Note 8?

Whenever from the last couple of days, when I try to play something it lags and YouTube videos have also started to lags a bit. It feels like it's playing on 120fps. Help needed!

What network are you on? Netflix started throttling to 720 oct1 when they increased their pricing

Lagging has more to do with signal reception and/or WiFi connection than Netflix choice of frame speed.

3 bars or more is best for cell, and better than dial up for WiFi.

Also helps to not have massive amounts of things going on in the background - run optimizers prior to opening Netflix, close unnecessary recent apps.

When was last time you powered off the phone? Make it a once daily habit.

I get more than 110 MBPS speed so that's not an issue besides YouTube videos lags as well

Quick question: did you install any app to remap the Bixby button? Apparently it produces lag in certain applications. I uninstalled due to that:
