Why does my Nexus 10 spontaneously flash a white screen and acts as a flash light for the front camera?

Nexus 10 spontaneously flashes white screen; acts as a flash light for the front camera...

I'm uneasy about conspiracy theories, but after Snowden, who knows...

My Nexus 10 acts differently from my previous tablets. Occasionally — several times a week (for several months now) — it spontaneously flashes a bright white screen. The flash is so bright that I'm blinded for about a second — not unlike being exposed to camera flash. Now the model has a front camera. You see where this is going.

The tablet runs Googles latest Lollypop. Installed Clean Master AV, few common games & apps with innocuous permissions. I dont recall giving an app the permission to take spontaneous pictures of my intimate moments with my tablet.

Bug? NSA? North Korea? Virus? Mossad? :-\

Mine has been doing the exact same thing... It's like the flash that happens when you do a screenshot...

It's always happened on mine, even way back on 4.2. Still happens today.

I never seen this as of yet.

Hello harrytuttle2006
Mine is doing this too. Did you find out why? Maybe there is somewhere a spy-app that has installed itself? Do you have a hint for me? I write from Hungary. Best regards. Eddie Taft
