Why does my Note II reboot after connecting to Wi-Fi?

[AC Question]

Whenever I connect to Wi-Fi, my phone restarts after about 5 seconds. I searched a lot but to no avail. I removed all the syncs to my accounts and also tried changing my device name. I have not tried to restore it to factory settings and would like if it can be solved without it. If it helps, I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note II with Android 4.4.2
