why does my phone always restart and delete apps

This started about three days ago, I was sleeping since its midnight. When I woke up the phone has already restarted by itself. Not only that, one random application has been uninstalled.

Since that day, there has been three apps being uninstalled. I haven't checked on what really happened every night tho.

Just to offer another possible explanation -- certain manufacturers design their firmware to aggressively kill apps from RAM in a misguided attempt to save battery, so that might also be why you see your apps restarting when you first use them in the morning. Chinese manufacturers are notorious for this (and Infinix is from a Chinese company).

What app did the smart manager think was malicious?

no, its really a restart every morning, like my phone. was just started

it is a modded app, so i think its malicious

Ah, ok. I would always strongly caution against any modded apps, since you can only get them through shadier channels that don't vet for malware. As long as you have that on your phone, all bets are off.

yeah, i think at that time i skipped the application checking (or whatever its called) thats why i dont automatically uninstall it

nope, it actually restarts, apps that i just used (whatsapp) before sleeping restarts like i just opened it when i woke up.

i dont think the "smart manager" can do things like uninstalling app automatically, and i just used the uninstalled app about 2 days ago. oh yeah the "smart manager" actually found a virus app.

Welcome to the forums. It seems that the preinstalled Smart Manager/X Manager is a very aggressive "cleaner" app (RAM cleaner, junk cleaner, app management, all the works). It's very possible that the restarts and app uninstalling are caused by this app. See which options can be disabled in the app settings or, even better, disable it completely.

Antivirus apps often show false positives. Which antivirus apps are you using? And which phone do you have?
