Why does my phone and battery get hot and start discharging very quick?

Why does my phone and battery get hot and start discharging very quick.

I have no idea what detail would be requirred other than my phone used to go for a couple of days before requiring a charge and now I have to charge twice in 8 hours. How can I tell if the battery is bad?

First check your applications setting

I Think it is because there is some application that working on background
Like Messenger application ( Whatsapp / Line / Facebook ) which always use background Data everytime

Also activating GPS / Location services is also can drain your battery pretty quick .

Go to the settings and see what apps that may cause that.

or Try to deactivate your Internet Connection for 1 days and see if your battery run out quickly , your battery might be broken .
