Why does my phone delete speed dial tiles?

I have a Motorola e5 Supra on the Cricket network. Recently the phone has started deleting the speed dialing tiles. It is running Android 8.0.0. Is there any way to keep it from doing this? I went through the menus but did not see anything about it. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? I really like the tiles!

"Tiles" are a Windows concept. Do you mean Quick Dial widgets?

Also, do you mean your frequent contacts? There's a weird bug affecting some Moto devices. See this thread.
