Why does my phone go directly to camera when phone is turned on

My phone goes directly to the camera mode instead of my home page

Perhaps your Power button launches the camera when pressed in a certain way?

@belodion is correct... Lots of phones are able to be configured such that the power button or some other physical control can lainch directly into the camera with a double press.

It's also possible that you're swiping a camera shortcut on the homescreen.
