AC Question

First i wasn't able to change my ringtone to any custom mp3 music even though i created folders as some suggested. Finally i managed to change it with the help of an app, but every time my phone restarts (sometimes without reason) everything is lost, all my saved setting within the app disappear. It's getting really frustrating, i'd greatly appreciate some help.

I just did. Cleared the catch, restarted my phone, set up a custom tone, restarted my phone again...it went back to default, just like the settings within the app, all gone again.

Hmm...maybe if an app like Zedge can override the system. Zedge is free on Play.

Sent from an AOSP M8

I had zedge previously, i deleted it though because it kept freezing. I'd download it again to give it a shot, but that just makes me confront another problem namely "there is insufficient space on device", even though my SD card is almost empty.

Anyway you could post a picture of your storage stats, please?

Lg g flex android kitkat. Same symptom. Even if i change any of the android based ringtones or notifications, they reset to a canned ringtone. I have tasker setup to manage audio profiles for silent over night. I tested the theory if the audio profile change was the factor and success...setting the phone to silent mode resets android based ringtones and notifications. Any app specific notification seems to stay stable.
From what I readon the web...this has been a reported problem since 2011.
As for a fix...no clue at the moment other than changing audio profiles.
