why does my pixel 6 powers off for 2 seconds and remains on constantly?

[Android Central Question]

My screen is always on, the display will timeout for 2 seconds and it's right back on. I always have to power down my phone to save battery charge. When I press the off button, it powers off and come right back on, As it is waiting for my fingerprint to access, it constantly shuts down and powers back on.
