why does my play store keep saying no connecton

im using my phone as a mp3 player right now and I do have connection when I go on the internet and when i send emails. help would be appreciated. thank you.

I had the same problem. Check your email from a computer or other phone and find the gmail sent from Google saying a security alert a device tried to access your account then navigate through the email it will say somewhere about authorizing it and allowing access or login
