Why does my Samsung a20 phone go into activation mode when it is already activated

I have to turn my screen off and put my phone in my pocket when I took my phone back out and pushed the button to turn the screen back on the screen and phone said let's go which is the activation screen why is my phone in activation mode when it is already activated

There's a difference between "you went through the activation process" and "the phone is activated" - activation may have failed, or a software glitch may have deactivated it.

Welcome to Android Central! Had you been using the phone normally for a while before this happened?

Were you able to get past that activation screen? If so, does it look like the phone did a complete factory reset? It's not out of the question that the phone did a spontaneous factory reset (which is usually the result of some catastrophic glitch).
