Why does my screen turn off while watching a facebook video but not a youtube one?

While watching a facebook video the screen will do a normal time out and turn off unlike the youtube app where it will be able to play entire video without turning off. How do i get my s6 to do it on facebook like it did on my s4?

You must have the option that stops video from playing when your eyes leave the screen. You must turn that option off.

Settings,, controls,,, smart screen,,, turn that option off

Any other suggestions? I'm having the same problem. "Smart stay" is off.

Go to
Battrry-->battery usage-->Three Dots (upper right)-->Optimise battery usage.
You can then find YouTube and then turn Optimisation OFF for this App

Does your phone have screen attention setting? It uses the front camera and prevents your screen from turning off while you're looking at it.

Also how long does the video play for before closing?

Under auto play settings in Facebook it says "when your battery is low videos stop playing automatically". But not sure if they just mean the previews as you scroll.
