Why does my sony xperia z1compact reboot on the uninstall of an app?

It shows uninstalling and then just reboots. The uninstall is then unsuccessful. It occurs with different apps that I installed myself, they did not come with the device. I don't know what the common factor between these apps is, just that they are large and I need the space so want to get rid of them. Other smaller apps sometimes do uninstall successfully.

Hi, welcome to the forums! You could try clearing data for that app, force stop and then uninstall. If this doesn't work try the same process after you boot your phone in safe mode. Tell us how it goes.
