Why does my speakerphone cut out after a call is connected

[Android Central Question]

I have a Samsung S7 that just updated last week. Since then, calls that I put on speakerphone, I hear the phone on the other end ring,but as soon as it is answered, the speakerphone cuts out, and I must turn off then turn on again. This happened about a month ago, but forgot what the solution was. This is VERY annoying.

Did it have something to do with your Bluetooth pairing?

I saw this, not sure if it's me, cuz I couldn't log in, but no...does the same whether blutooth on or off.
