Why does my upper notification bar keep disappearing and reappearing?

[Android Central Question]

I use a Gpad 20 as I read on the back. My problem is that my upper notification bar loses its icons for 3 seconds before gaining them again. This is a problem because whenever this happens apps like YouTube and Geometry Dash pause, and my keyboard collapses. This feels like it happens every 20 seconds. I tried cleaning off my screen, then with a test realized that what was happening to me looked nothing like pulling down the top, and even if it was that, that doesn't get rid of my keyboard. I have no idea what is happening, and none of my friends do either, so I would appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks in advance.

I don’t know why that’s happening, but back up your personal data while you still can, since it could be failing hardware or software.
Does it happen in Safe Mode?

Welcome to Android Central! Does this happen in Safe Mode? Also, if you have a screen protector on, try taking it off.
