Why does my wallpaper keep changing?

I was able to conclude that every time that I logged out of FB, my wallpaper would change back to the default so I went to settings >Application , Manager>Facebook, and cleared the cache, cleared the data, Forced stop, uninstalled the App in the google play store, reset my phone, reinstalled the app and the problem seems to be resolved. I hope this helps.

Who the hell ever resets there p b one unless it's a last resort? You make it sound like its routine.

Considering the whole string of steps that Zumbalady15 mentioned, I'm guessing she meant that she rebooted the phone, rather than factory resetting.

I have an S5 with Sprint and I had a picture saved as by background wallpaper and last night as I was watching something on an app, the app crashed and I went to my home page to find out that my background wallpaper had been changed back to default. I do not have or use Facebook. The phone itself did not even reset or show to have updated. This was a little strange to me. I also do not have a secondary storage. I just thought it was odd that when I purchased the phone over a year ago that picture transferred as my screen background from my S4 and now out of nowhere...POOF!!!!...GONE!!!!

I found a possible solution. It's possible that the wallpaper needs to be stored on the "internal storage" as opposed to an SD card. I have an app "Phases of the Moon". I set it as my wallpaper a long time ago. Recently I began to move any app that I could to my SD card, to save space. Phases of the Moon was one of those apps. That's when my problem began. After trying some of the suggestions found here, without success, I decided to move the app back to internal storage. I then turned off the phone and turned it back on. To my surprise, the problem appears to be solved.

Found the culprit thanks to someone on another post! It's an auto update of custom wallpaper settings in an app such as Zedge! If you have Zedge and custom wallpapers and you have the settings for auto update wallpapers, then they will change and this is what's causing this! You must change it to "never"! I'm assuming.

The culprit for me was a Microsoft launcher. It was using Bing to change the wallpaper back automatically.

Uninstall. Shesh, Microsoft followed me to Android. Yuck!

If you have Microsoft Launcher you need to either delete it or go into the app settings and turn off the option to change your wallpaper daily. Other Launchers will cause similar issues. If you're having issues then just rid of any 3rd party Launcher and you'll be good. Hope this helps.

What about if you don't have Microsoft launcher and it is still doing this? Huawei p20...it's getting really annoying how my lock screen is constantly changing to stock photos that aren't even that good.
