Why does "swipe screen to unlock" bypass my fingerprint/PIN security?

I just noticed that my fingerprint/PIN security to unlock my phone can be bypassed by a simple swipe! I don't know how long this has been the case, but it has me concerned. How can I fix this? I have a Galaxy s6 running Android v 6.0.1
Security patch is dated Feb 1, 2017. Anybody else having this issue?

Settings - screen lock type shows PIN, fingerprints
I think I figured it out! I turned off my home address, so now there should be no Trusted places. Don't know how it got set in the first place. That should do it!
Thanks for the quick replies. :)

I added that feature last night :)
Like the way that when I'm at home I can just use the phone without having to unlock - there are only people in the house that I trust anyway, so no problems there.
