Why does the alarm clock icon appear on status bar after a phone call?

I have a galaxy s5 and it updated today to version 6. I noticed that now after a phone call the alarm icon appears on the status bar for a bit then disappears. My son has same phone and updated to vs6 also but his phone doesn't have this problem. What do I need to do for the alarm icon not to show up after a phone call?

Thanks, I did that and still have the problem. Now I notice that it happens when I send a text also. So now the icon appears after calls and texts.

Yes it does. I have also noticed that after I clear junk files from the Clean Master app the first text I make the alarm icon does not appear, then the second or third text it appears again.

Was Clean Master preinstalled, or did you install it yourself? Many of us feel that Clean Master is not particularly helpful, and often causes more problems than it claims to solve. Try uninstalling Clean Master (or, if it was preinstalled, go to the App Manager and Disable it).

I'm having the same issue. Did you ever figure it out? I do not have clean masterm installed.
