Why does the volume keep going up and fown by its self

Everytime I listen to music volume goes down and then phone starts going crazy trying to go to google by its self and what not

If your using a Hi-Fi headset or earbuds with a remote, this issue is usually caused by them when the wires become damaged. I recently needed to replace mine, because the wires near the jack were so frayed, that whenever I took a single step, my phone would do anything from pause the music to switching tracks.
