Why does youtube keep saying "no connection"

[AC Question]

I have a s7 and most of the time when i open up you tube a bar pops up saying "no connection" i then close my apps,open it again and it works. However, whenever i go back to the youtube app, want to look up a new video it again it says "no connection" This is has just started to happen recently.

This happens to me also. I'm also using no-rooting up to date galaxy s7 edge and it happens on both Wi-Fi and mobile data

Ok you just have to clear the app cache and data.

Help needed. I have the same problem. Keep getting this error evrytime i tried to play a video 'No Connection Playback ID: (bunch of random letters and numbers) Tap To Retry. I tried clearing app data and cache and updating the app, i even make that my date and time is set correctly but nothing seems to be working. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.
