Why doesn't my alarm sound work while on the charger?

Alarm sound does not work while on charger

Hi guys,

Last night I was charging my phone (LG G3 with Quick Circle case) and today the alarm sound wouldn't work while it was on the charger.

Can you please help?

I don't have my G3 in a Quick Circle case, so I don't know whether that makes any difference. But I keep my phone on a charger all night & am using the LG stock alarm - it works OK for me.
