Why doesn't my Galaxy Note 2 show a blue blinking light when it is being charged?

Welcome to Android Central! Try pulling the battery for 10 seconds, then put it back in and power on again. If that doesn't work, let it charge on a wall outlet for 6-8 hours undisturbed, then try again.
