Why doesn't my pc recognize my samsung galaxy s5 mini?

I have the samsung galaxy s5 mini. I use a standard usb cable to connect it to my pc. It always appears on my mobile screen the allow or deny access button. The problem started when I selected the deny button and since then whenever I connect my phone to the computer it only charges the battery so I can't transfer media files. What can I do? please help me!

Welcome to Android Central! When you connect the phone and swipe down the notification panel, do you see a USB icon there? If so, tap it and select MTP or Transfer Files.

If you don't see it, go to Settings>App Manager, tap Menu, and Reset All App Preferences. See if it works now.
