What do you mean? Copy what? The icon layout? The widgets? The wallpaper? All of it?

Wallpaper is copied, but nothing else.

Try it again with smart switch app between devices.

I would though back up your s20 to PC Smart switch and restore that copy to your s24

I think some things that were on the home screen on the previous phone don't always carry over because not all the related apps and any widgets that may be used aren't copied over yet. Without the apps, which sometimes don't load until after the switch is done, then Smart Switch has nothing to put back.

Samsung has a smart switch version for PC, you can make multiple backups and restore at any time all of it or individually
Video/picture/messages/home screen layout/settings etc..
