Why don't i have a gif button on Facebook?

I am having the same issue on my Verizon Galaxy Note 5. My girlfriend has the same phone on the same carrier and hers has the GIF button on comments..

I had Gifs button working on my Facebook but it just completely disappeared after my last update. Anyone have ideas why out would be gone?

Having a Samsung A3 and the same issue. Even after Android and FB last updates.

I had it for awhile and then one day it was gone! Good to know I'm not alone - I have a Samsung s4 and update my phone all the time. Still no answer as to what is going on?

If there's still people having troubles on this subject.. try tapping on the smiley face icon beside the comment bar and gif's will come up as an option.
(I have an s8+ and this works on mine)

If your gif button is missing on Facebook go to your app store and search GIF keyboard tenor and install and then your gift button will reappear for Facebook

I have the S6 Edge and I used to have the gif button when I would reply to someone's comments, except, today it's not there anymore.

When looking for the GIF feature, I noticed a "+" sign, or button, just left of the camera button, which is just left of the comment box.

Tap the "+" and the lower half of the screen give you the option to "Search Stickers and GIFs". I hope this is useful.
