Why don't Modify Apps close on Close All?

Modify Apps not to close on "Close All"

All,

Is there a way to modify an application not to close when you do a "close all"? I ask because I have a few music apps that I don't want to close when I perform this function. For example, I have a few music apps ( SiriusXM, PocketCasts, Sonos, SoundCloud, Music, etc) that I use often and some of them close during close all and some of them do not.

Sonos, SoundCloud, Music Player and Pocket Casts do not close however Sirius XM will close and stop playing active music. Is there a setting in Lollipop 5.0.2 that I can modify to have these apps close/not close? I can see this being useful for other apps I intend on using and installing.
