Why don't my actual location show on Google Maps?

my lg g3 doesn't show my actual location on google maps... and when it does, is very slow, changes every ten seconds or so... when im driving is very annoying... is this related to my phone, google maps or data connection?

With your phone live, pull the battery and then restart. May clear up the GPS chip. If not, verify that your GPS setting is set for High Accuracy; Settings, Location, Mode. If all else fails, backup and perform Factory Reset. If after Factory Reset does not cure the issue, take it in to your carrier for either warranty or insurance replacement.

Go into system settings - location - gps. Make sure that gps location is set to the highest priority.

If that doesn't help, reboot the device or toggle airplane mode on then off.
