Why don't screentips for alarms go away after the alarms are silent

The screen tips about using voice commands for a sounding alarm hang around after the alarm is no longer sounding. In addition to being obnoxiously distracting, they keep the microphone active, which should be considered a serious security issue, in addition to unduly taxing on the battery.
