Why google drive has a grey triangle with an exclamation mark beside whatsapp?

In google drive, why there is a grey triangle with an exclamation mark next to my whatsapp? What does it mean?

In my phone the whatsapp backup did not show any problem.

I googled and saw these 2 threads mention about the same problem and followed the solutions there but it does not solve the problem.

Is whatsapp backup successfully done in google drive and where is the whatsapp backup file in google drive?

When you open google drive app , tap 3 lines upper left corner and tap back up you should see WhatsApp back up and when it got back up

I followed your steps, I see the backup yesterday, how do I save the file to my PC?

In your browser like chrome, if you access https://www.google.com/drive/ On your PC, open Google Drive, click the gear icon in the top right > Settings > Manage Apps > WhatsApp do you see a grey triangle with an exclamation mark next to your whatsapp? screenshot https://imgur.com/s3W6Q38 From the 2 thread links I posted above, it seems like the grey exclamation mark means something is not right, how do I solve it?

Hmm I will try from my browser and get back , maybe it's saying not syncing between browser and phone but let me see .

This is weird you do not even see [whatsapp messenger] in manage apps. Are you able to locate any file that looks like whatsapp file? I am wondering why google drive whatsapp backup seems like an invisible file, how would a user save google drive whatsapp backup file into PC?

Ok , I do apologize I have 3 accounts on google drive I choose the wrong one , the correct has my WhatsApp back like your screenshot

What does grey out mean? Is it working correctly or something gone wrong? As you can see my screenshot, Google Sheets, Google Sites, Google Sidles are colored which look active/working.

I guess something is wrong when it is greyed out. Any idea how to make it not grey? I am guessing if it is ungreyed, maybe can click to show backup files.

I don't think anything to worry about , mines always backing up and no issues, I'm not sure this first time go there to check that , maybe because it on a PC it can't do anything , it needs a mobile number and mobile phone to do something.

"we recommend backing up your WhatsApp data" > I think this means save a copy of the google drive whatsapp backup somewhere, just wondering how to make a save a copy of backup in PC?

You can connect your device to PC then in your files manager choose WhatsApp folder to install there or on a sd card or probably dropbox

Those files are the whatsapp auto backup done internally in the phone, not the google drive whatsapp backup.

All the data sits in internal storage , drive has acces to it , you see when you go to drive it says back up but you cant open it .
