Why has my phone turned to crap since the update?

Phone is **** after update

My s5 running very slow after update and I've tried everything possible to stop touchWiz asking me if I want standard or easy mode everytime I press the home key. I tried switching between them. Restarting phone. Answering "always" use this mode but still it appears

It's suggested to competently reset your phone after software updates.

Try that. Make sure you back up everything you would like to keep though.

I echo that. I've read that the S5 does indeed need that reset after the update.

Or you can do a cache partition wipe to see if that fixes it first.
