why has my stock email

My stock email (my basic email) has stopped working.There is no apperent reason I can think of for this.It's UPDATING constantly just going around and I don't receive or can send mail.It has been two days now and I don't know what to do about it!Anybody has or had the same problem?

Try deleting that email address off your phone, then sign it back on again. This happened to me a few times on my last Android phone, and the iPhone I had before my G3. All it took was deleting it off the phone, then logging it back onto the phone.

That's a good idea. You could also go to Settings>Apps>All, select Email, and Clear Cache, then Force Stop. You could also Clear Data, but I'm not sure if that would completely remove your email account (which would be the same as what durango992007 suggested).

I've had this happen to me. I went into settings for that particular account within the app and set Sync Frequency to every day.

I have removed that account but now I can't log back in .It asks me for my email address and password and after I do it says that the setuo is incomplete check network connection and entered info.All that is right,but it still won't let me log in

Cant do it,Since I have removed the account its no longer in Settings>Apps>All.

Who's the email provider? Do a search for "[your email provider] IMAP POP3 settings," and try adding the email account by manually adding those settings.

Google is my Gmail provider and I can only get into the account through the browser since the Gmail app. is not letting me go in.So I have also been using the stock email and now that has giving me a hard time!My LG G3 is a lovely piece of phone and it works great,but I have nothing but problems with the Gmail and now the stock mail as well.I am not able to correct this I am wondering if a factory hard reset would be the answer?

Not sure why the Gmail app isn't allowing you to log in. A factory reset would probably be a good idea at this point.
