So the screen only works with your S-Pen and not when you touch it?

Welcome to Android Central! Try booting into Safe Mode: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-27639. If it still happens, then the touchscreen digitizer has probably failed. The S Pen can still work in this situation because it uses a different technology than the digitizer.
