Why has Skype and Facebook stopped working since the system update?

Skype and facebook don't work anymore after system update

Last Friday I made the android system update on my Motorola G2. Since this day I can't open Skype or Facebook anymore on my mobile. I don't get any messages or hints for messages from the Facebook Messenger anymore. Other programms seem to work slower. Until this update I didn't have any problems with any App.
What can I do know?
(I already deinstalled and installed the programs, but this didn't help as well as switching the device off and on)

Try Settings, Storage, Cached Data, and clear the cache.
