Why has the 5.0 upgrade caused app crashes?

5.0 upgrade has caused app crashes

Hi,
Yesterday my nexus4 updated to 5.0

now everything linked to gmail
like app store, google+, gmail etc keeps crashing.

some other apps also keep crashing.
Cant factory reset.

Any suggestions.

Most apps not working would probably be because they are not compatible with the new ART runtime in Android 5.0. The apps you specifically mentioned, however, are Google apps which are definitely compatible. Sounds like a problem with your phone that needs investigation, I would factory reset or wipe cache.
