Lost USB transfer capability after upgrade

I've lost the capability to transfer files between my phone (Nexus 5) and my PC (Windows 8.1) since the Lollipop upgrade. I'm using the same PC, USB Cable & USB Port. Before the upgrade the PC recognized the phone as a drive, now it doesn't see it at all. The phone is configured as 'MTP' and does recognize that a cable has been plugged in. I know it's not the same thing, but the phone does charge while connected, it just isn't seen by the PC. Anybody else had this issue?

Welcome to Android Central! Go to the Device Manager on the computer, and see if you can find the phone listed as a device. If so, uninstall it from the Device Manager, so that the next time you plug the phone in, it triggers the auto-installation of the correct driver again.
