Why I am FORCED to see the ad for Bitmoji for Gboard now? How do I get it to go away?

[Android Central Question]

Just this week the ad for Bitmoji for Gboard started popping up every time I go to add a bitmoji to a text message. I have a Galaxy S8. My daughter has the same phone and is now getting the same issue. I do not want to install Gboard but I HATE having to hit "LATER" to get it to go away. Please tell me there is a fix?

I'm having the exact same issue! What do I do to get rid of it. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled, restarted phone and still prompts me! HELP!

Adguard work well.. Not sure about imbedded ads like YouTube or in game ones like words with friends etc..

Hi I'm having the same problem since early Feb. Using latest gboard keybd , bitmoji and Google messages. Gboard was working and integrated my bitmoji and my stickers along with the std emoji, gif and text emoji. I think I got some type of OS update around the time gboard stopped showing the extra bitmoji and sticker tabs and since then gboard only shows the std emoji, gif, and text emoji.

BTW, I uninstalled and reloaded all 3 apps 4 times!

Im on VERIZON. HOWEVER, . A Friend is on ATT doesn't have problem? Found out the ATT SAMSUNG S5 that is working is running 6.8.8 . My
Galaxy 8 ver 7.1.1 is having the problem.

Since this latest 7.1.1 update affects gboard and both sticker and bitmoji integration, I'm gonna stick my neck out and say it's a gboard issue and not bitmoji and every sticker app out there. What's your opinion?

Same issue here. Stupid ad comes up EVERY TIME I try to use Bitmoji Keyboard. THE REASON I'M USING BITMOJI KEYBOARD IS BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO USE GBOARD. About to uninstall Bitmoji for good.

Using a Google Pixel running newest Android 8.1.0
