Why I can't create APN on my samsung j5, for my etisalat sim?

I need to use mobile data on sunday but I find it very hard to do this on my phone.

I tried all the possible ways I know, but I can't even create my own APN. It says that

"UNABLE TO VIEW ACCESS POINT NAME SETTINGS. Access is restricted to the curreny user profile"

Huhu please help

Welcome to Android Central! Where did you get the phone from? Is it a carrier-specific phone? Certain carriers make it difficult to add or edit APNs.

I brought it here in UAE from Philippines, bought it in GLobe plan.I can use the etisalat sim for text and call use, but when I try to use mobile data, it is not working. Cant even create APN

It's carrier locked. You cannot use mobile data unless you use Globe's APN. Phone's bought from networks like Globe have some features locked so that you can only use them with their SIM card.

Yes, you can usually use other networks like SMART in SIM2. But not in SIM1. You did not say you had it unlocked, which means it's still locked.

Even if you can use other networks in SIM 1. It just means it wasn't locked properly. But APN would still be disabled. You need to get it unlocked properly.
